Tender Pack Engine
Pricing

Pay for the assembly. Never for the diagnosis.

There is no free plan. Registering and setting up your compliance vault costs nothing, because reading the expiry dates off your own documents costs us nothing to run. What you pay for is the work after that: more than one live tender at a time, unlimited submission packs, and the four places where Claude reads the document for you.

We cannot get you a tender. Nobody can.

Anyone who tells you they can is lying to you, and you should walk away. We have no relationship with any organ of state, no contact inside any SCM unit, and we do not lobby anyone. We do not sign anything for you and we do not submit anything for you. Your name is the only name on your bid.

What we do is make sure your bid survives Stage 1 — the paperwork check that eliminates most small businesses before anyone opens their price. That is a real problem and it is the only one we solve.

There is no win guarantee on this page, no success rate and no testimonials, because we do not have honest numbers for any of those and inventing them would be a false representation under the Consumer Protection Act.

No VAT is charged — we are not a VAT vendor. This price will not change when we register. Month-to-month. Cancel in one click. No notice period, no penalty, no retention runaround. 7-day full refund on your first charge. Stop paying and you keep everything you built.

  • No Claude fit check.
  • 1 tender open at a time. A second tender needs another One Bid, or a monthly plan.
  • Watch-list capped at 5 keywords.
  • Nothing renews after 30 days, so the allowances above do not come back. Your plan lapses and you keep everything you built.

If you stop paying, you keep everything you built

This is the part most subscription software gets wrong, so read it carefully. Cancelling ends your plan. It does not take anything away from you.

Your compliance vault stays. Your deadlines stay. Every submission pack you built stays — with its index, its bookmarks, its SHA-256 manifest and its audit record — and every one of them stays downloadable. Your whole audit trail stays. You can export the lot as a ZIP on the way out, and again a year later. Forever means forever, not ninety days.

What actually stops is new work: opening a tender workspace, building a new pack, the radar and the Claude actions. Everything already built stays exactly as it was. That is the entire consequence of not paying us.

We will not hold your evidence hostage to a failed debit order. Those packs are your proof of what was in the envelope on the day you submitted it — the thing you would need if a bid were ever wrongly declared non-responsive. Deleting them because a R-something charge bounced would be indefensible, so we do not do it.

How this compares, fairly

Most South African tender services sell alerts: an email when something matching your keywords is published. That is a real service, and several of them watch more sources than we do — we read National Treasury's eTenders feed, plus, on Bid Adviser, a Claude search of municipal, provincial and SOE portals that never reach it.

What an alerts service does not do is anything that happens after you have found the tender. This does: it reads the bid document and pulls out the closing date, the returnables, the forms and the disqualification clauses with the page each came from; checks those requirements against the documents in your vault; fills the MBD and SBD forms; and builds the indexed pack with a manifest.

If your problem is not hearing about tenders, buy alerts. If your problem is being thrown out on a technicality after you found one, that is this.

What none of these plans do

  • Scanned and photographed documents are not read. There is no OCR yet, so a phone photo of a B-BBEE affidavit has no text we can extract and no expiry date we can find. You type that date in yourself; the screen for it exists. We would rather say this than let you find out.
  • The verdict is provisional and rule-based. It knows 20 returnable document types. A requirement written in prose in a late annexure, and never listed in the returnables schedule, can be missed.
  • We never submit and never sign. Printing, initialling, sealing and delivering the bid is yours, and the deadline is yours.
  • Smart fill never types a price, a date or a signature. Deliberately. Those are the four places a wrong character costs you the bid.
  • Claude is optional and off by default. It runs in exactly four places: the deep read, the fit check, the cover letter and the portal search. Everything else is rule-based and runs with no API key at all.
  • No uptime guarantee. One founder, one server in Johannesburg. If that matters to your procurement department, tell us before you buy, not after.

Cohort — by quotation

For an ED or ESD programme putting a group of beneficiaries through the same problem at once. There is no self-serve price for this because there is no self-serve version of it: a cohort is quoted on seats and term, invoiced by EFT against a purchase order, and covered by a written operator agreement your procurement and legal teams can actually review.

  • Every beneficiary gets the Bid Adviser feature set.
  • The AI allowance is pooled across the cohort, so idle beneficiaries waste nothing and no individual can run the bill away. Your entire exposure is one number written into the contract.
  • A readiness dashboard for the sponsor, fed by a projection each beneficiary publishes — there is no read path from a sponsor login into any beneficiary's documents, by design.
  • A quarterly outcome report: documents moved from expired to valid, tenders tracked, responsive submissions made, deadlines met.
  • Bulk onboarding and a named onboarding session per beneficiary.
  • Operator agreement, privacy notice and security summary for your vendor onboarding pack.

Quoted excluding VAT, since sponsors are VAT vendors and claim the input credit. What we commit to in writing is Stage-1 responsiveness and the evidence to prove it — never a win, and never a number of awards.

Questions people actually ask

Do I need a card to start?

Not to register. You create your account and set up your compliance vault with no card, and there is no trial that quietly turns into a bill. To open a tender workspace and build a pack you buy a plan: One Bid is R299 once-off, for one tender; Bidder is R449 a month.

What is a "deep read", and why is it metered when everything else is not?

Because it is the only part that costs us money per use. The rule engine reads every tender at no extra cost: closing date, returnables, MBD and SBD forms, disqualification clauses, and the page each came from. A deep read sends the tender document to Claude, which costs us real rand per call, and it adds a plain-language brief plus requirements written in prose rather than in a list. We meter exactly the four things that cost money and nothing else.

What is a cache hit, and why does it cost me nothing?

Tenders are public documents and several bidders often chase the same one. If Claude has already read this exact document — same text, same prompt version, same model — we serve the stored result instead of paying for it twice, and your allowance is not touched. It is genuinely free to us, so it is free to you.

Can I cancel, and what does it take?

One click, from your account. No notice period, no penalty, no phone call, no "are you sure" maze, no offer we make you refuse three times. You keep the plan until the end of the period you already paid for, then you drop to Free with all your data intact.

What if I pay and then it is not what I thought?

Your first charge on any plan is fully refundable for 7 days, for any reason, and you do not have to explain yourself. Full terms are on the refund policy, including the narrower promise we make about a returnable our gate showed as valid — and the three blind spots where that promise does not apply, published next to it rather than buried.

Why is there no VAT on these prices?

We are not a VAT vendor, so no VAT is charged and no VAT is claimable on what you pay us. When our turnover eventually crosses the registration threshold, the price on this page is what you will still pay — we will absorb it rather than adding 15% to an existing customer's bill. Cohort contracts are quoted excluding VAT, because sponsors are VAT vendors and claim the input credit.

Who can see my documents?

Your compliance vault documents are never uploaded to Anthropic. Public tender documents issued by organs of state may be sent to Anthropic PBC in the United States for analysis, and are not used to train any model. The full list of who receives what, and why, is in the privacy notice.

Do you guarantee I will win, or that my bid will not be rejected?

No, and be careful of anyone who does. We can tell you what the document requires and whether what you have matches it. We cannot control an evaluation committee, a specification written for someone else, or a requirement buried where no rule engine found it. The one thing we do put money behind is narrow and specific, and it is on the refund page.
